Al-Azhar Message Academy is a private online academy for Quran memorization and for teaching tajweed, the qira’at, the Arabic language and Islamic sciences. Its teachers are sheikhs and female teachers who are graduates of Al-Azhar, each of them holding an ijazah with a connected sanad. The academy is independent and not affiliated with the Al-Azhar institution.

Who teaches at the academy?

All our teachers are sheikhs and female teachers who graduated from Al-Azhar and hold an ijazah with a connected sanad.

  • Female teachers only for women and girls, in one-to-one lessons that fully protect their privacy.
  • The camera is optional for women during the lesson.
  • For boys, parents choose a male or female teacher.

Is Al-Azhar Message Academy affiliated with Al-Azhar?

No. Al-Azhar Message Academy is a private, independent academy that is not affiliated with the Al-Azhar institution; its male and female teachers are Al-Azhar graduates who hold an ijazah with a connected sanad.

How much does studying at the academy cost?

The fee for issuing the ijazah is given when you contact the academy. The price is the same for children, women and adults, and payment is by Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or PayPal.

Do women and girls study with female teachers?

Yes. Women and girls are taught by female teachers only, in one-to-one lessons that protect their privacy, and turning the camera on is optional for women.

Can I get an ijazah with a connected sanad?

Yes. The ijazah is granted after passing the sanad exam, in the narration of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, the narration of Warsh ‘an Nafi‘ or in the ten qira’at.

Is the first lesson free?

Yes. The first lesson is a free 30-minute trial, and if the teacher isn’t the right fit you get a second free trial with another teacher.

In which languages are the courses taught?

All qira’at courses and the Noor Al-Bayan and Noorani Qaida courses are available in Arabic, English and French.
